These are actual station agent supplies. 20 years ago, these items came from a friend whose relative, Charles L. Warwick ?cleaned out his desk? as a relief agent on the CNJ (I think he was an uncle who had retired many years earlier. I finally got around to looking through the leather satchel full of railroad ephemera.) Most everything that?s dated is from the xxxxs. The most recent date I noticed is xxxx. The Central Railroad of New Jersey (CNJ) was a ?sister? road of the Reading Railroad (RDG) and the areas of New Jersey he worked interchanged with the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) and the New York and Long Branch Railroad, co-owned by CNJ and PRR. Forms from all these roads are being posted.
